Update on Jesse
The results of histology confirmed that Jesse has a Basal Cell carcinoma on his right side.
The good news from the Vet is that "usually these are benign in cats"
and because of Jesse's advanced years (15) we will adopt a watching and waiting brief, because DrEric does not G.A.procedures on elderly animals.
So we can hope that (periodic) needle aspiration of the cystic fluid keeps the old boy comfortable and that the neoplasms don't develop too quickly.
To look at our black panther you'd think nothing was amiss:eating well, harassing Cadbury in a big brotherly way...(she HATES his attempts to groom her) and doing laps of the back yard at top speed.

Give Jesse a hug from me. You can't keep a good cat down.
PS Ashley thinks he looks like our Jess - when he is in a bad mood. Figure that one out...lol.
Jesse is gorgeous - I love all cats, but black ones are really special aren't they? Our black Topsy is so different to all the other cats we have had.
