You decide!

Not normally one to indulge in Tarot readings, etc, this is what came up today when I decided to "try it out"

!The Fool Card
You are the Fool card. The Fool fearlessly begins
the journey into the unknown. To do this, he
does not regard the world he knows as firm and
fixed. He has a seemingly reckless disregard
for obstacles. In the Ryder-Waite deck, he is
seen stepping off a cliff with his gaze on the
sky, and a rainbow is there to catch him. In
order to explore and expand, one must disregard
convention and conformity. Those in the throes
of convention look at the unconventional,
non-conformist personality and think What a
fool. They lack the point of view to understand
The Fool's actions. But The Fool has roots in
tradition as one who is closest to the spirit
world. In many tribal cultures, those born with
strange and unusual character traits were held
in awe. Shamans were people who could see
visions and go on journeys that we now label
hallucinations and schizophrenia. Those with
physical differences had experience and
knowledge that the average person could not
understand. The Fool is God. The number of the
card is zero, which when drawn is a perfect
circle. This circle represents both emptiness
and infinity. The Fool is not shackled by
mountains and valleys or by his physical body.
He does not accept the appearance of cliff and
air as being distinct or real. Image from: Mary

Trawling the Net

It's amazing HOW a simple email can lead to spending hours trawling through associated random links on the Net.
An email from SharonBs http://inaminuteago.com/bagsoffun/bagsoffunindex.html">
led me toEmmy Schoonbeeck's http://www.emmyschoonbeek.nl/?Page=5"> and on finally to Magic Balls, which included a side trip to a few other sites before I ended up with

Fiberella with all manner of goodies http://fiberella.com/index.html">

Now let's see if Jennifer's email from "bloggerswhoembellish" http://groups.yahoo.com/group/bloggerswhoembellish/">
works!

What element are you?

Your Element is Water

Your power colors: blue and aqua

Your energy: deep

Your season: winter

Like the ocean, you evoke deep feelings and passion.
You have an emotional, sensitive, and spiritual soul.
A bit mysterious, you tend to be quiet when you are working out a problem.
You need your alone time, so that you can think and dream.

I can't believe how "spot-on" this was!

Counter

Wanting to try "something new" and curious to see how many hits this site gets,I today added Statcounter to the Blog.
I'll give it a week to run and then see if it's worth keeping there.I think it could be interesting if I add it to CQCRAZY,but I'll wait until Sharon has sorted out the mess of a template I already have!

Monkey see,monkey do!

After reading Julia's comments on Ribbonwhiz re: " inserting a Flickr badge",I thought it was time to try it out.
I apparrently got it right first time here(sigh of relief)
Now to push my luck and see if I can successfully get similar on Kenmaurs Corner.
Then---
back to "Bloggers who embellish" to find out "how" to add a counter to blogs

Nearly there

At least I can now say the office/computer area no longer looks like a mad woman's breakfast!
Of course my concept of organisation would offend others, but hey! It's my space, and I'm the captain of this ship.
Tomorrow....
The sewing room;
The ironing;
Some CQ.before I feel totally deprived. In the meantime................back to the kitchen!

TYVM Sharon!

I followed the advice (in single syllable words) that SharonB gave re getting the Links in the sidebar...and it WORKED!
There's hope on the horizon!!If nothing else all this blogging is either keeping my grey cells active,or else reducing them to total mush...the jury is still "out" on that one.

On a practical scale, with one patient son's expert assistance my computer space was upgraded yesterday--------I just have to sift through various cartons now and complete the relocation and/or discard mode now.

Adding Links to side bar

Following on replies from SharonB and neefer(http://groups.yahoo.com/group/bloggerswhoembellish/) I've endeavoured to add the embellishing/cq blogs to the side bar.As I didn't want to include all that were in the "cheat list" Sharon so kindly provided(she's more technical in her terminology!!) I thought I'd edited it to what I required.
Must admit that what you see is not what I thought I'd get!
Oh well back to the drawing board.
